| The conveyancer's costs are borne by the
purchaser. In practice, the conveyancer will collect the deposit
and his transfer costs from the purchaser before proceeding
to lodge the documents at the Deeds Office.
Upon registration of transfer at the Deeds Office, the conveyancer
will recover the balance of the purchase price together with
any other additional costs from the purchaser. This will be
reflected in a final statement of account.
A final statement of account is also sent to the seller where
the conveyancer will recover any additional costs from him/her
such as courier fees. |
